The NET on WDSU AM news!

Ms. Ostberg looking very professional @ WDSU

Last saturday NET student Tristan LeBlanc and Erica Stavis NET Internship Coordinator appeared on the AM news show at the WDSU studio.  They spoke about the NET program and how to become involved with our internship program. Ms. Ostberg, although not on camera was a great coach in getting them both prepared for their on-screen interview. It was a great success and Tristan did an amazing job both on screen and off. Tristan, interested in pursuing a career in journalism might have impressed the man working at the station enough to take him on as an intern!!! Good work Tristan!

Hubba Hubba Tatoos in the Bywater gets schooled by Dwayne!

Dwayne gets ready to share his opinion about why black ink tattoos are better than color. Patrick and his lovely wife will be mentoring Dwayne at their shop Hubba Hubba Tattoos in the Bywater. Dwayne is also developing a personal narrative project on the history of tattoos and the important role they play within certain subcultures. Hopefully he'll learn what it takes to be a tattoo artist, which is the career he is interested in pursuing.
