Joi is on her way to becoming an environmental journalist!

Joi is enrolled in the “Work with the Animals” class at Audubon Zoo. Although she has aspirations of becoming a journalist, she was very interested in volunteering at the zoo.  In her career essay she wrote, “There are many different types of journalists.  The one I am most interested in becoming is an environmental journalist. I am most interested in this because of my interest in wildlife, animals, and conservation.” Obviously her experiences at the zoo will take her one step closer to realizing her goal.
