unCommon Construction Features our own Noel!

Apprentice Spotlight: Noel
"I build to become a more active listener."
Noel is a 16 year old at the NET Charter High School, an alternative school that provides "students with the skills, confidence and experience necessary to succeed in the education and career paths of their choice.” Noel’s choice: Construction.

Last semester, Noel made the NET's honor roll, earning an impressive 97% in his introductory carpentry class - which uses the National Curriculum for Construction Engineering and Research (NCCER).
At school, Noel is working toward an industry-based certification, but the construction site is where he really shines. He's a fun and incredibly energetic member of this team, and always approaches new challenges with an eager smile - ready to learn and see a job well done. He's also on track to graduate early, making the need to develop employable skills all the more crucial.
At unCommon Construction, Noel reinforces what he learns in the classroom through real world application. He’s quick to pick up new skills and eager to coach his peers and volunteers through more complex tasks. We love working with Noel, and can't wait to see how he'll choose to build his future.
“This team is the best crew I’ve ever worked with.” - Noel
