Lights, Camera, Action Summer Film Festival

The NET's Lights, Camera, Action class was very productive this summer.

They produced so many shorts and features that they had to have a Film Festival to premier them all.

Blueberries for All!

Mr. Donnie and Mr. Bill's Agriculture and Business class have started their own Blueberry business this summer.

Students partnered with J & D Blueberry Farm to pick blueberries earlier this summer.  They are now selling the fresh berries along with jam and syrup that they have made from them.

They've even been featured in New Orleans Eat Local Challenge facebook page.

Contact dstarks@thenetnola.org to make your blueberry order!

The NET at Habitat for Humanity

This summer Mr. Todd & Mr. Byron's construction class has been working at Habitat for Humanity New Orleans.

While learning new construction and carpentry skills, students are making it possible for another family in New Orleans to have a beautiful and affordable home of their own.
